M.X. Turner has been taking photos since the 1970s.  As a kid he used his mom's Kodak Brownie.  From Instamatics through FTBns and AE-1s to present-day rangefiners and DSLRs, M.X. captures street action, concerts, political rallies, social events, natural beauty, human destruction, and moments that no-one's quite put a name to yet.

Three shows of M.X.'s photos were staged in Seattle in the 2010s.  His images have been used on album covers, advertisements and in the media.  His upcoming book of New Orleans photography,  Beyond The Calm And Raging Waters, will be published in 2022.  Get in touch to hire M.X. or purchase his photographs.
